Our agreement with you

These terms outline what you can expect from Mainstreet Marketing and what we need from you as we work together on your website, Google Business Profile, and social media presence. Terms of Service Last updated: April 2025 These terms govern your use of Mainstreet Marketing's services. By engaging us, you agree to these terms. Who we are Mainstreet Marketing (ABN: 63 156 638 016) provides website build, Google Business Profile setup, and digital presence management services to small businesses across regional Australia. Services and scope The scope of each engagement is agreed in writing (email or proposal) prior to work commencing. Work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which we will communicate before proceeding. Payment Payment for one-off website builds is required prior to the site going live. Retainer services are billed monthly in advance. We accept bank transfer and card payment. Overdue accounts (30+ days) may result in services being paused. Intellectual property On full payment, you own the content and images specific to your business. Website design templates, frameworks, and third-party platform elements remain subject to the terms of those platforms (e.g. Durable.co). We retain the right to reference your project in our own marketing unless you request otherwise. Third-party platforms Our services often involve third-party platforms including Durable, Google, and Meta. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or policy updates made by those platforms. Platform subscription costs (where applicable) are the client's responsibility unless explicitly included in your package. Cancellation Retainer services can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. One-off build fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. Limitation of liability Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect losses including loss of revenue or business opportunity. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. What happens if I want to cancel my service?

You can cancel services by notifying us in writing. Website projects with completed deliverables are non-refundable. Ongoing services like social media management can be cancelled with notice, and we'll handle the transition of your accounts.

Who owns my website once it's built?

You own your website. We build it on your domain and hosting, which you control. You'll have full access to all files, content, and your Google Business Profile. We never lock clients into ongoing fees to keep their site live.

How do payment terms work?

We agree on pricing upfront before any work starts. For website builds, we typically collect a deposit to begin, with the balance due upon completion. Ongoing services are billed monthly. We're transparent about costs from day one.

Can I get a preview of my website before paying?

Yes. We provide free previews so you can see exactly what you're getting. You only pay once you're happy with the result. This removes the guesswork and gives you confidence in the final product.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

We work with you through revisions until the website meets our quality standards. If there's a genuine issue with how we've delivered against what we agreed, we'll address it. Our goal is your satisfaction and a working site that brings in customers.

Do you handle my social media passwords and accounts?

We manage your social media profiles and Google Business Profile as part of ongoing services. You keep ownership of your accounts. We use secure methods to access them and can hand everything back to you anytime with full documentation.

How to accept these terms

You can accept our terms of service in two ways: sign and return a printed copy, or accept electronically through our website. Either method creates a binding agreement between you and Mainstreet Marketing for the services we provide.
